🎱 Euro Truck Simulator 2 Retarder Activated

Since Update 1.28 I noticed that when I use the retarder (I assigned a button of my XBox Controller for adjusting and lowering the retarder) the engine brake also is used. Then you use your retarder in steps to keep your speed constant, position 1 slow brake, position 2 more and heavy brake, positon 3 everything needed from the system, to come back to the right speed, here the brakes of the wheels do not have to brake too much and too long, no more brakes on warm drums / discs. some cruise control do this automatic. Just recently, every time I start away from a stop I get an alert saying the automatic retarder is on, and to push "." to deactivate. I do this but it never goes away. I also like to use cruise control, which until recently was the "c" button, but now when I press "c" I get the retarder alert. I'd like to get rid of this retarder alert and get my cruise control back. If you are playing with keyboard you should deactivate the air simulation in the settings because you can't press your brake "only a little bit" with a key.
